Going Forward Into The Future
We would like to emulate Project Healing Waters our sister charity in the USA. They have successfully rolled out regional programs nationwide and are working with the wounded far sooner than we are able to at present.
To enable us to do similar we need to raise an extra £250,000 per year. We intend to build closer and stronger links with our allies, after all our men and women are fighting together it seems only right that we share the research and experience both organisations have gained.
We also want to expand our expeditions program. Experience has shown that the effect a fishing expedition has on a service person or veteran is out of all proportion to the cost. The effect of demonstrating that there are people who appreciate what they do and that society does care can be immense.

Being able to spend a few days with nothing but the river and fellow veterans for miles around can have an incredibly healing effect.
